Tenement Halls is the name used by Atlanta-based artist Chris Lopez for his solo work. Lopez was formerly the frontman and lead vocalist for rock ’n roll band The Rock*A*Teens. Of the debut Tenement Halls album, Destroyer’s Dan Bejar wrote: “Knitting Needles & Bicycle Bells may be the most melodically immediate collection of Lopez songs to date.”
